Already screwed up the resolutions

...by breaking the one about "not reading any more books about the 2004 Red Sox."

My will power is really astounding.

Flipping through and looking at the pictures does not constitute "reading." Not even if you linger on the ones of a shirtless Gabe Kapler.

That makes me feel much better! "Lingering" is a nice way to put it.

How many books can there possibly be about the 2004 Red Sox?

Eric:
Thus far I've read these books re: the 2004 Sox:

The Steven King book. Not very good.

The Johnny Damon book. Beyond horrible. I hated it when I read it pre-defection. Now it would probably be like reading Jeffrey Dahmer's memoirs.

The Dan Shaugnessy book. Very good. Unlike King, he managed to capture some of the soul of the thing.

The Bill Simmons book. I only read a few parts of it, and I vowed to hate it on DanTobinDanTobin.com's behalf, but there was some funny stuff there.

The one about them and the Yankees. That's the one I'm reading now.

I have probably forgotten a few.

How about weening yourself off of the Red Sox by reading about the 2005 champs, America's feel good hit of the season.

Oh wait there is only one book on that. Again I will blame the Cubs.

Maybe that's because most White Sox fans can't read. Ha ha ha, I kid because I care.

Actually, I think Jeffrey Dahmer's memoirs might be sort of interesting. For example, I'd LOVE to know what he told the Milwaukee (actually pronounced Mili-wau-kay, Algonquin for "The Good Land")Police to convince them to let him take the 14 year-old kid who had been wandering around the streets naked with a hole in his head back to his apartment instead of, oh I don't know, the police station or HOSPITAL!?!?
